Head of Housing & Customer Services
Salary Package up to £71,128 (Pay Review Pending)
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to oversee a series of key operational customer service areas working closely with registered partners in the District on housing related schemes, including Private Sector Housing, HMO’s and enforcement in private rentals. Whilst the Council does not have its own housing stock, the role works very closely with the registered partners in the District and has been very successful on schemes including the Local Authority Decarbonising Scheme and the Local Authority Housing.
You will also be responsible for the revenues team and benefits section, and will need to respond swiftly changes to legislation.
As well as the above our Head of Housing & Customer Services will be responsible for our response to the “Cost of Living Crisis”, the newly approved budget has included £600,000 to support our residents who are most at need. Programmes in this area include support for heating costs as well as working with local community and voluntary groups to support residents in their homes.
The successful person will also lead on programmes in this area including working with the local community and voluntary groups to support residents in their homes.

You will be collaborative and supportive in your approach and share our enthusiasm for delivering a great experience for residents.
